I use this pharmacy all the time and have always received great service. They're also very patient given the abuse They're subjected to and I've never heard them be anything other than professional. I've witnessed people kicking off because the pharmacy doesn't have their prescription and therefore they can't issue it - that's not the fault of the pharmacy! Yes, the wait times can be long but the pharmacy is positioned between two very busy Doctors surgeries so that's to be expected. There are times of the day when it's quieter so, if you can, pick your moment and go then instead if you don't want to wait.

I got bitten by a bug 🐝 on my allotment 4 days ago, painful and red lumps with heat, discharge and with swelling. Saw the pharmacist almost immediately, into the consultation room, 5 mins later on a course of antibiotics. Great service much better than waiting ages to see a GP. Absolutely brilliant service 👏🙏

Been using the pharmacy for about 6 years now as I’m nearby. All the staff are polite and professional and are great with any queries. Being a local pharmacy, it can be very expensive if you need to grab something essential. Then again, you’re so close to town, you could just grab the bus or walk to Boots or somewhere slightly cheaper — but the majority of the time, people will be coming here for prescriptions anyways. Recently had my Covid and flu jabs here also, and they were quick and to the point. There’s a small consultation room for privacy. It can be really cramped at times which can be concerning considering people are collecting medication for themselves or others who are sick, so I’d suggest masking up or coming here when it’s a bit quieter.

How is this place still even open let alone getting decent reviews, thats beyond me you can be 1 of 3 people an the wait time is still over 20 mins. Then you get given your medication to find that the imcompetent woman who has previously missed medication off of many peoples prescription has gone an done the same again. You try an ring because there is no chance you can get back there before they close to be stuck listening to some kind of orchestra on hold. Umm that doesnt suit everyone. How about have a bit of decency for people who have to sit on hold who have sensory issues. Theres much more appropriate sounds you can use. I used to like this chemist but its gone down hill so badly recently. You need to sort your staff out an actually get them to do the job they are signed up for an maybe get them to pay attention to details infront of them.

I spent waiting for a consultant for 45 minutes but didn't mind as you could clearly see they was busy. When I was seen I was seen professionally and the consultant was very understanding and helpful
